For My Brother Paul,
Although I can’t be there in person, in my heart I am with you in remembering Paul. Although he was named after our father, Paul’s name became his own and reflected who he was.
The P stands for the Poet in him. He expressed his artistry through the songs and the poems he wrote and the music he loved.
The A stands for the admiration I feel for him in his striving to overcome the setbacks and maladies that confronted him in his life. It took a lot of courage.
The U stands for his understanding of all different kinds of people and the problems that they face and his understanding of what Humanism really means.
The L stands for the Love he gave to others and the Love that I feel for him. I miss him deeply but he will always be with me. Thanks for being Paul.
